A disposable, collapsible, and leak-resistant cup and associated methods are provided which preferably include a collapsible cup body for positioning a liquid therein. The collapsible body includes a substantially flat bottom having an upper surface and a lower surface, a plurality of walls connected to the bottom, positioned to extend upwardly therefrom in an erect position, and enclosing the upper surface of the bottom so that the upper surface of the bottom and inner surfaces of the plurality of walls define the inner confines of the cup to thereby prevent liquid positioned in the inner confines of the cup from leaking therefrom during an extended period of time. The plurality of walls preferably include a rear wall positioned to overlie the bottom when in a collapsed position. A lifter such as a handle is preferably connected to the rear wall of the body for lifting the rear wall to an erect position when the body is collapsed and for lifting the body for use when a liquid is positioned therein.
