A locking device for a housing consisting of a lower part (1) and a slide plate lid (5) of an antimagnetic material requires no perforations neither on the plate nor on the lower part of the housing and offers utmost security against unauthorized opening when at least one permanent magnetic locking pin (4a, 4b) is placed in the lower part (1). Said locking pin can be displaced in a right angle with respect to the plane of the lid (5) and is drawn in the direction of said lid (for instance, by means of a spring), so that it locks onto a locking shoulder (6a, 6b) formed in the inner part of the lid when the lid is closed. To open the lid (5), an unlocking plate (7) may be used having a permanent magnet (8a, 8b) in an appropriate place, said permanent magnet being magnetized in a direction opposite to that of the magnetization direction of the locking pin (4a, 4b). |
