PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor rotatable with a stabilized frictional force by a structure wherein a frictional contact face in the motor employing a synthetic resin frictional member is sustained in low humidity state without requiring any intricate motor structure or components. SOLUTION: The oscillation wave motor comprises a rotator 3 disposed in contact with an oscillator 1, and a substantially enclosed housing 7b therefor having a synthetic resin frictional member bonded to any one of a resilient member 1b or the rotator 3 wherein the rotator is rotated by exciting an oscillation wave in the oscillator 1. In this regard, a thin planar silica gel based drying agent is arranged in the substantially enclosed housing 7b. |
