<p>The invention concerns a method for controlling the richness of a thermal engine, with electronically controlled ignition and injection, by correcting the so-called wetting phenomenon of the walls which occur in indirect injection of fuel in the cylinders. The method consists in adding to the nominal amount of petrol (Qnom) to be injected, corresponding to the richness reference input (Rc) follow-up in the theoretical absence of the wetting phenomenon, a correction delivering the amount of petrol (Qinj) effectively injected into the cylinders. The physical wetting phenomenon of the walls being added to this latter amount of petrol (Qinj) defines exactly the amount of petrol (Qcyl) actually introduced in the cylinders and which effectively ensures the richness reference input follow-up</p> |
