The thickness of the examined body part is modulated with at least two pressure modulation frequencies ( nu 1, nu 2) through mechanical means. At least four measuring signals are obtained by irradiating the body part with a light. Said measuring signals are dependent on the action of the light and on mechanical changes in the thickness.
