A cladding support system for a framework including rounded tubular members (32) having an arcuate face and flattened opposite ends (34) inserted into cylindrical hubs (10). The support element includes an elongated span (112) and opposite end portions (114) each including a terminal end (35). The span (112) has an arcuate surface (132) in seated engagement with the arcuate face of the tubular member (32). The end portions (114) of the support element each have a tapered surface (136) coextensive with and angularly disposed relative to the arcuate surface (132). The tapered surface (136) includes a groove (134) at each terminal end (135) of the support element for receiving the flattened ends (34) of the tubular members (32). The terminal ends (135) are angular and overhang the cylindrical hubs (10). |
