HEAT INSULATING PANELS OF AIR CONDITIONER AND JOINING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat insulating panels excellent in heat insulating properties and airtightness and a joining method thereof on the occasion when the separate heat insulating panels are jointed and used on a wall surface of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: Heat insulating panels 1 have a constitution wherein joint members 4 being elastic bodies and having low heat conduction are so provided as to be on the inside and the outside of the opposite lateral sides of surface plates 2 facing each other, wherein heat insulating materials 7 are enclosed in the inside space of the surface plates 2 and wherein mating faces 5 coming into contact and engaging with each other in joining and slit grooves 6 for holding a connecting plate inside the joint members 4 are provided. On the occasion of joining the separate heat insulating panels 1, the mating faces 5 are brought into elastic contact with each other by pressing the heat insulating panels 1 on each other and are held and fixed by the connecting plate 8.
