<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living body detection device that can up-convert to a stable high-frequency signal, and at the same time down-convert the received high-frequency signal to an intermediate frequency signal, and can reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: A living body detection device 10 is basically constituted of a reference oscillator 12, a multiplier 14 and a multiplier 42 for multiplying a signal from the reference oscillator 12, a transmission antenna 16 for transmitting an electronic wave by a high-frequency signal that is multiplied by the multiplier 14, a reception antenna 18 for receiving a reflection wave, a mixer 20 for converting a high-frequency signal from the reception antenna 18 to an intermediate frequency signal by using a signal that is multiplied by the multiplier 14 as local oscillator output, and a processing circuit 22 for taking out a signal in response to the small displacement of a living body by processing the intermediate frequency signal.</p> |
