PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color print and a silver halide photographic sensitive material which protect the copyright without affecting the image quality of the print image, and to provide a controlling method for formation of an image by using these materials. SOLUTION: Features of the color print and the silver halide photographic sensitive material are that these materials have a regular pattern of micro dots having <=50μm diameter, a regular pattern of lines having <=200μm line width or a regular pattern of circular lines of <=200μm line width. In the controlling method for formation of an image, the regular pattern of micro dots having <=50μm diameter or the regular pattern of lines or circular lines having <=200μm line width is detected, and an exposure meter or a developing machine is controlled according to the detected information of the pattern.
