<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-precision two-dimensional(2D) coordinate input device without expanding the device. SOLUTION: When a coordinate input part 20 comes to contact with an upper cover 9 of a coordinate detecting part 10, a light emitting means 24 is driven. Besides, the coordinate detecting part 10 is provided with a shutter part 7 composed of a member changing the wavelength of transmitted light corresponding to a temperature and having reversibility in that change so as to uniformly cover the opening part of a cavity part consisting of each cell. Further, at the lower part of each cell, a light receiving element is provided while holding a cadmium sulfide layer 2b between upper and lower electrodes 2a and 2c arranged in the shape of grid. When the light emitting means 24 is driven and the prescribed area of the shutter part 7 is heated with radiated light, a color is changed only in that prescribed area and the radiated light is transmitted. The transmitted light is received by the light receiving means 2, resistance between the upper and lower electrodes 2a and 2c at that cell is reduced by a light transmission effect and since an optical current flows, the instructed coordinate can be detected.</p> |
