PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner sensor made possible to stabilize the toner concn. controlling work adopting a MR(ferromagnetic thin film magnetosistive) element, and capable of to performing a toner cocn. control advantageous with respect to the cost. SOLUTION: This toner sensor is constituted incorporating a pair of two MR elements 120 and 130 arranged mutually from so that respective center points thereof are on a straight line approximately, and an auxiliary magnet 140 arranged so as to apply a magnetic field to the MR element 120 and 130. While, the respective MR elements 120 and 130, and the auxiliary magnet 140 is respectively arranged so that the range between respective center thereof is approximately equalized, and respective MR patterns 121, 122, 131 and 132, by which the bias magnet is magnetized, are arranged so that both of MR elements 120 and 130 have the bias magnetic field at an approximate angle of 45 degrees with respect to the electric current flow. |
