PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a multi-color image having low toner heaped height by using a powder developer. SOLUTION: This multi-color image printing device is provided with a means for forming at most one layer of the toner particles of one color separation on an intermediate member, a film layer forming station 400 forming a thin film layer by applying and spreading the toner particles, a means for forming a multi-layer film on the intermediate member by superposing the layer of the toner particles of different color separation similarly formed on that of the toner particles of one color separation, and a means for transferring and fixing the color image on the multi-color film layer on a recording paper from the intermediate member. Since the multi-color image obtained by this device has low toner heaped height, the appearance problem of the document (paper distortion caused by curling and waving gives dissatisfaction in nice appearance, increased paper jamming rate, and makes handling and finish of paper complicated) can be solved. |
