PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil winding device for stator core which can solve the problem that, when the rigidity of a conductive winding is high at the time of winding the winding around the teeth section of a stator core, the degree of freedom for deformation of the winding drops and the winding tends to bend in a circular arcuate shape at the corner of the teeth section and, consequently, the coil section formed of the winding floats from the surface of the teeth section and reduces the space factor. SOLUTION: This coil winding device is provided with a wire shaping means which protrudes the conductive winding 1 toward the teeth section 11 of the stator core. Consequently, the winding device can wind the winding 1 around the stator core in a state where the winding 1 is attached to the device.
