PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the misfire of an engine and to improve the drivability of the engine in a controller of a cylinder injection type engine having a master bag for a brake assistor having a negative pressure chamber connected to an intake passage of the engine. SOLUTION: The cylinder injection type engine wherein the fuel is directly injected into an engine combustion chamber, comprises a fuel control means 61 for switching the compression stroke injection for injecting the fuel in the compression stroke and an intake stroke injection for injecting the fuel in the intake stroke, and controlling the fuel injection amount, the master bag 71 having the negative pressure chamber 72 connected to the intake passage of the engine, and a pressure sensor 50 for detecting the pressure in the negative pressure chamber 72, and the fuel control means 71 corrects the fuel injection amount in accordance with the output of the pressure sensor 50 in switching from the compression stroke injection to the intake stroke injection.
