PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door capable of stopping the door of the sliding door at a desired position to have a desired opening width and varying the lateral opening widths. SOLUTION: This sliding door 10 comprises a plurality of grooves 21a, 21b, and 21c provided on a door sill 21 or head jamb 22, and a plurality of doors 11, 12, and 13 mounted thereon movably along the grooves, and the adjacent doors can pass and move each other so as to be openable and closable from both lateral sides. A stopper 30 for arresting the movement of the door 13 from the other side is provided in the groove 21c, so that the opening width from one side is in a non-regulated state, and the opening width from the other side is in a regulated state.
