PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and convenient tripod for gas cooking stove sufficiently endurable against high calorie heating, a heat resistant aluminum cast alloy suitable therefor and a gas cooking stove incorporating the tripod. SOLUTION: The tripod for gas cooking stove is made of a heat resistant aluminum cast alloy having fusion start temperature of 620 deg.C or above. A most typical composition thereof contains Si: 0.5-11%, Mn: 1-8%, Cu: 3% or less, Mg: 0.5% or less, Zn: 1.5% or less, and Fe: 2.0% or less, by a mass ratio, and the remainder of Al except impurities.
