PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar system capable of firmly fixing a material to be installed to a pillar material without rotating and shaking. SOLUTION: The material 2 to be installed is installed in a pillar material 1 having an approximately round section via a connecting tool 3. A connecting tool 3 surrounds the pillar material 1 and the material 2 to be installed with a body member 4 having an approximately U-shaped section and a maintaining member 6 having an approximately U-shaped section, and the connecting tool also fixes both opposing side walls of the body member 4 and maintaining member 6 by means of fixtures 7 and 8. An arc-shaped, pressed contact member 5 is interposed between the pillar material 1 and material 2 to be installed. The tip of a pushing bolt 9 screwed in a connecting wall 13 of the maintaining member is inserted into the inside of the material 2 to be installed, and the material 2 to be installed is pushed toward the pillar material 1.
