The side frames (1) have two rigid frame parts (11,12) which with elongated frame profiles (13) are adjustably connected with one another in the longitudinal direction of the wheelchair. On the one frame part (12) is fitted one of the drive wheels (4) and on the other frame part (11) one of the steering wheels (5). The elongated frame profiles have several hollow chambers extending in a longitudinal direction. The rigid frame parts have holes, which with several various adjusting longitudinal positions of the frame profiles can be aligned with profile holes and connected by suitable connecting components. The drive wheels are fitted on rear frame parts in the longitudinal direction of the wheelchair in varying positions in a length and height direction. |
