<p>The invention relates to a building element based on a face-to-face fabric, especially a velvet fabric, having at least one first and one second ply (a, b) and intermediate webs (z) connecting these plys (a, b), the fabric consisting of an industrial yarn, such as aramid fibre, carbon fibre, ceramic fibre or especially glass fibre, and, once cured, being coated with resin, an intermediate web (z) forming rigid spacer elements for the first and second plys (a, b). To make it possible to produce especially building elements which have a relatively pronounced curvature, the invention proposes that at least one of the plys (a, b) be woven in an open weave, such as is also used in multi-ply fabrics. <IMAGE></p> |
