PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch unit safe, with a small number of parts, simple in structure and inexpensive. SOLUTION: This punch unit constitutes its characteristic feature of supporting a punch 1 free to move in the orthogonal direction on a guide frame 10 of a hollow box shaped cross-section on which an upper frame 11 of a U-shaped cross-section and a lower frame 21 are connected to each other, moving a slide link 30 furnished with a cam hole 32 in the parallel direction on the guide frame by a driving means 40 and drilling by converting motion in the parallel direction of the slide link 30 to motion in the orthogonal direction of the punch 1 by a translation cam mechanism as the cam hole 32 and a pin roller 3 of the punch 1 are engaged with each other.
