<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a structure to restrain swinging of a casing upper part at developing time of an air bag device installed on an instrumental panel. CONSTITUTION:A lower part of a casing 3 of an air bag module 1 is fixedly arranged on a stiffener of a body panel, and U-shaped engaging leg pieces 8 are integrally molded on a rid 4 of a casing upper part, and projecting parts 9 corresponding to an opening 2a of an instrumental panel 2 are arranged by integral molding, and in an installed condition, the projecting parts 9 are immeresed and installed in holes 8a of the engaging leg pieces 8. Thereby, swinging around a fixedly arranged part of a casing lower part by development of a bag at air bag actuating time can be restrained by engagement of the holes 8a and the projecting parts 9, and the structure can be constituted without using a separate part such as a bracket, and installation also becomes easy.</p> |
