摘要 PURPOSE:To restrain the deterioration of emission without causing a drop in travel performance by implementing the down-shift gear change of a transmission, when a driving force is enhanced due to the operation, regardless of a large driving force required via an air-fuel ratio kept rich. CONSTITUTION:When a power operation detecting means 3 detects that the load of an internal combustion engine 2 is in a power zone equal to or above the prescribed load, a down-shift instruction means 5 is made to issue an instruction for the down-shift gear change of a transmission 1, on condition that a gear change detecting means 4 detects that a gear set with a transmission 1 allows the down-shift gear change. Also, when the means 3 detects that the load of the engine 2 is in the power zone and the means 4 detects that a gear set with the transmission 1 does not allow a down-shift gear change, an amount of fuel supply is increased via a fuel increasing means 6, and a fuel-air ratio is made rich, thereby generating a large driving force.
