<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of preventing the engine stop even in a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine wherein intervals of explosion strokes are unequal. <P>SOLUTION: This control device for the internal combustion engine for controlling the multi-cylinder internal combustion engine wherein the explosion strokes are unequally performed, comprises a crank angle detecting means for detecting a rotating angle of a crank shaft, and a means for inhibiting the lowering of rotating frequency of the engine to less than a specific value, when the rotating angle of the crank shaft detected by the crank angle detecting means is within a specific range. The means for inhibiting the lowering of rotating frequency delays the connection of a clutch until the rotating angle of the crank shaft becomes outside of the specific range in a case when the connection of the clutch of a transmission is requested in a state that the rotating angle of the crank shaft detected by the crank detecting means is within the specific range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
