<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption device having relatively simple construction for effectively utilizing the adsorbing performance of an adsorbent by releasing heat of adsorption to the outside of a system, and to provide a cooling system. <P>SOLUTION: The adsorption device comprises a main flow path ranging from an inlet through a first damper 3, an adsorber/desorber 1, a heat exchanger 2 and a second damper 4 to an outlet and a return flow path formed branching from the main flow path between the heat exchanger 2 and the outlet and converging to the main flow path between the inlet and the adsorber/desorber 1. Part of air flowing out of the heat exchanger 2 is returned via the return flow path to the main flow path between the inlet and the adsorber/desorber 1 so that the part of air is put into a circulated condition. As a result of frequently repetitive passage of the air through the adsorber/desorber 1 and the heat exchanger 2, heat of adsorption is released to the outside of the system and a temperature in the adsorber/desorber 1 is kept as a temperature corresponding to the heat radiating performance of the heat exchanger 2. therefore suppressing temperature rise in the adsorber/desorber 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
