PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel of an MVA system having high display quality, wherein reduction of display quality affected by a contact hole for conduction between a drain electrode and a pixel electrode is suppressed. SOLUTION: In a first substrate wherein a TFT 16 and a pixel electrode 15 are formed in each position partitioned by scanning lines 13 and signal lines 14 disposed in a matrix shape and a second substrate wherein a protrusion 23b regulating inclination of liquid crystal molecules is formed in each position, a contact hole 31 for conducting a drain electrode D of the TFT 16 and a pixel electrode 15b and the protrusion 23b are formed so as to overlap each other. Thereby, inclination of liquid crystal molecules due to physical force of the contact hole 31 is suppressed by the regulating force of the protrusion 23b so as to suppress deterioration of display quality.
