PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high-performance brushless motor for accurately detecting a position of a magnetic pole and good controllability. SOLUTION: A main magnetization section of a magnet 3 faces a stator 1 through an air gap, and has skew magnetization. A region faces a magnetic pole position detecting element 8 through the air gap, and has straight magnetization. Since the skew magnetization section and the straight magnetization section are formed on the same outer circumference of the magnet 3, a cogging torque is inhibited, the accuracy for detecting the position of the magnetic pole is simultaneously ensured, and the compact and high-performance brushless motor having good controllability can be acquired.
