PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for an automobile seat and the seat equipped with the damper capable of rapidly increasing resistance against the rapid specific behavior of the automobile seat without so much increasing the resistance against a gentle specific behavior of the automobile seat. SOLUTION: The automobile seat 1 is equipped with a seat 2 and a backrest 3, a connection mechanism 4 which turnably connects the backrest 3 with the seat 2 in A and B direction, the damper 5 mounted to the seat 2 and the connection mechanism 4, a lift mechanism 7 liftably connecting the seat 2 with a chassis 6, and the damper 8 mounted to the lift mechanism 7.
