PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent hole plug for a tire mold which enables the omission of spew removing work of a tire or the improvement of a work environment, the enhancement of the appearance of a product tire and the easy cleaning or the like of the mold, and the tire manufactured using the tire mold. SOLUTION: A holder 4 made of a metal is constituted by providing guide holes 6a and 6b to the opposed positions of the side surface of an exhaust cylinder part 4a and forming the lower guide hole 6b as the slot in its axial direction and a tapered recessed fitting part is formed to the upper part of the exhaust cylinder part 4a. A plug member 5 is constituted of the tray-shaped head part 5a fitted to the fitting part and a shaft part 5b to which through-holes 9a and 9b permitting the insertion of guide elastically deformable spring pins 8a and 8b formed thereto a formed. A gap is formed between the holder 4 and the plug member 5 by the elastic force of the spring pin 8a before the insertion of the tire of the mold and closed by the pressure of the tire after the insertion of the tire.
