PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for a sheet wherein the rigidity of a foam comprising the pad for the sheet gradually changes from the surface to the back and the flexure behavior is made to be straight-line under the load such as the sitting of an operator or the like to improve the comfortableness, and its production method. SOLUTION: The pad for the sheet comprises a front support section 34 and a back support section 36 on which the operator sits with direct contact and side support sections 38 and 38 which hold the postures by the side support of the operator and is so constituted that two kinds of foam with different rigidities are integrally mixed at least in a part of or in the whole of the front support section 34 or the back support section 36 and the rigidity of the pad for the sheet 12 is continuously changed along a direction of the thickness to make the rigidity at the surface side low.
