摘要 FIELD: medicine, ultrasound diagnostics. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with filling the stomach with water of room temperature followed by measuring the areas of transverse sections in the widest parts of antral department, gastric body and the height of water column position of gastric body up to its angle. Moreover, additionally, one should measure the height of antral department up to gastric angle, and the value of gastric volume (Vn) should be detected twice, V1 immediately after filling the stomach with water, V2 -in 9-11 min, according to the following formula: Vn=San.han+Scn.hcn, where San - the area of transverse section of gastric antral department in its widest part; Scn - the area of transverse section of gastric body in its widest part; han - the height of antral department up to gastric angle, hcn - the height of water column position of gastric body up to its angle, n - the number of measurement 1, 2. One should detect the percentage of evacuation P% according to the following formula: P%=(V1-V2)/V1*100%. The value obtained should be compared against normative value for this age of healthy person, and in case of it value being within normative one it is possible to diagnose normal gastric evacuatory function, and in case its value being above normative value - one should diagnose accelerated gastric evacuatory function.
