FUEL CELL, ITS BIPOLAR PLATE AND MANUFACTURE OF BIPOLAR PLATE

PURPOSE:To provide a fuel cell having a gas seal property stable for a long period. CONSTITUTION:In a bipolar plate, in a side of a fuel electrode 25, an electrode peripheral seal part 16 and a fuel gas manifold peripheral seal part 17b are connected by the same surface, and also the electrode peripheral seal part is separated from a seal part in the periphery of an oxidant gas manifold 4 by recessed parts 19, 23. In a side of an oxidant electrode 20, the electrode peripheral seal part and the oxidant gas manifold peripheral seal part are connected by the same surface, and also the electrode peripheral seal part is separated from the fuel gas manifold peripheral seal part by the recessed part.
