An emergency elevator is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and time with a simple structure to improve the entire productivity, and to enable people to escape promptly. An emergency elevator includes a fixing beam member, a first chain gear portion, a second chain gear portion, a decelerating gear portion, plural footboards(40) and a support rope(50). The fixing beam member is fixed on an outer side wall of a building. The first and second chain gear portions are pivotally coupled to support rods installed on upper and lower parts of the fixing beam member, and are connected to main gears installed on the both sides with chains. Plural footboards(40) are pivotally fixed on the chain in the same number as the number of floors of the building. One side of the support rope(50) is fixed on the side of the footboard(40) and the other side of the support rope(50) is fixed on the chain.
