PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant composition having a superior deodorizing performance of harmful components such as acetaldehyde and formaldehyde. SOLUTION: This deodorant composition is characterized by including powder obtained by dry-mixing hydrazide compound and sepiolite as an active ingredient, wherein the mixing ratio of the hydrazide compound to the sepiolite is 2-200 pts.wt. of the hydrazide compound relative to 100 pts.wt. of the hydrazide compound, and dihydrazide compound is preferable as the hydrazide compound.
