PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning implement and a cleaning member capable of surely preventing its pulling-out. SOLUTION: This cleaning implement 1 includes a cleaning member 5 having a cleaning part 3 at one side and a retaining member 7 attachably/detachably replacing the cleaning member 5; the retaining member 7 has a grip handle 15 at a base end side of an insertion body 11 freely inserted into a locking hole 9 provided in the cleaning member 5, and a locking projection 21 on the base end side; and the cleaning member 5 has a pushed part 31 pushed by the grip handle 15 when inserting the insertion body 11 into the locking hole 9, at an inlet part 27 of the locking hole 9, and a pull-out locking part 33 being pulled in the moving of the pushed part 31 and being locked to the locking projection 21, at the inlet part 27 of the locking hole 9 corresponding to the pushed part 31.
