PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand-up assisting device capable of excellently assisting the stand-up movement of a user, and to provide a bathing device. SOLUTION: A bathing assisting device (the stand-up assisting device) 5 mainly includes an elevating/lowering part 10 and a support part 20. The elevating/lowering part 10 elevates/lowers the user 7 who is supported by the support part 20. The support part 20 is arranged in the elevating/lowering part 10, so as to support the underarm parts 7s and breast part 7b of the user 7. Consequently, when the support part 20 is elevated/lowered, the posture of the user 7 is shifted from a sitting posture to a substantial stand-up posture or from the substantial stand-up posture to the sitting posture, as the postures being the same as those to be obtained by being supported with the arms of a carer from behind.
