A grip band and a manufacturing method for the same are provided to use a fiber material that absorbs sweat well as a material for a grip band that encloses exercising tools like a handle of a bicycle. A grip band(10) includes a fiber material band(31) and a slip preventing member(32). The fiber material band has the shape of a long strip. The slip preventing member is formed on one surface or both surfaces of the fiber material band. The fiber material band is made of a cotton material having good capacity of absorbing sweat. The slip preventing member has any one of a strip shaped structure, a net structure in which strip shaped lines cross each other and a dot structure in the shape of points. The slip preventing member is made of silicone rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR), a nitryl rubber(NBR), a butyl rubber(IIR) and chlorophrene. |
