<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake pipe length switching mechanism of an internal combustion engine having a simple structure capable of smoothly switching an intake pipe length while securing excellent sealablity. <P>SOLUTION: In the slide type intake pipe length switching mechanism for the internal combustion engine, one of confronting opening end parts of a movable pipe 31 and a second fixed pipe 21 is provided with a funneled end part 22 expanding toward another opening end part composed of an elastic material and the elastic funneled end part 22 and the other pipe opening end part 31a directly abutted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
