<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device sufficiently extracting information for a user while suppressing the load of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The user interface device comprises: a first detection means for detecting a range where the user is present from a predetermined detection object range; and a second detection means for detecting the presence of the user from a detection object range narrower than the detection object range of the first detection means.
