FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to the method of producing linear styrene dimers (cis- and trans-1.3-diphenylbut-1enes) through oligomerisation of styrene in the presence of zeolite catalyst. The method is characterised by that, the catalyst used in ZSM-12 type zeolite in H-form, in quantity of 10-20 wt %.
