PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for efficiently reading information from a memory. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a selection part 71 for selecting an external memory 100 when the external memory 100 is mounted on a mounting part 101; a condition setting part 72 for setting conditions for reading data from the external memory 100; a management information reading part 73 for reading n(n is a natural number) pieces of management information from among pieces of management information related with data stored in the external memory 100 according to the conditions set by the condition setting part 72 when the external memory 100 is selected by the selection part 71; a storage part 74 for temporarily storing the n pieces of management information read by the management information reading part 73; and a display control part 75 for controlling a display 21 so as to display the n pieces of management information stored in the storage part 74 on a display 21 in a prescribed form according to the conditions set by the condition setting part 72.
