The present invention relates to a permanent magnet synchronous motor and, more specifically, to a permanent magnet synchronous motor capable of reducing an iron loss. The motor includes: a stator comprising a housing and a coil retainer installed in the housing and including a coil; and a rotor comprising an inner rotor core combined with a rotor shaft penetrating the housing and including a permanent magnet, an outer rotor fixing plate staying away from the inner rotor core at a predetermined distance to be combined with the rotor shaft, and an outer rotor core installed on the outer rotor fixing plate to face the permanent magnet at a predetermined distance. |
