The present invention discloses a washing machine (1), including a barrel (7) that can rotate under the drive of a motor (8), a circular passage (11) being provided on the barrel (7) along a circumferential direction, and a plurality of balls (12) rolling along the passage (11) being disposed in the passage (11), wherein the plurality of balls (12) includes magnetic balls (12a) and non-magnetic balls (12b) that can be attracted by magnetic force. Due to the existence of an attractive effect of magnetic balls, a plurality of balls is attracted to form a mass body. No collision occurs inside the mass body, or a small amount of balls at ends collide with each other only at the time when the rotation of the barrel is not stable. Therefore, noises produced by collision of the balls are effectively reduced. The present invention also discloses a balancing ring for use in the washing machine. |
