PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater structure installation device and method without requiring an operator.SOLUTION: A midair section of an installation caisson 1 is equipped with: reflectors 3A, 3B, 3C corresponding to total stations 2A, 2B, 2C; a computer, which calculates a position of the caisson 1 on the basis of the positions of reflectors 3A, 3B, 3C obtained by the total stations 2A, 2B, 2C that collimate corresponding reflectors 3A, 3B, 3C; display means to display the calculated position of the installation caisson 1; installation winches 91, 92, 93, 94 to install the installation caisson 1; and a camera to take images of the installation winches 91, 92, 93, 94. Unmanned installation of the installation caisson 1 is realized as the installation winches 91, 92, 93, 94 can be remotely monitored with the images and the installation caisson 1 is precisely guided and installed while checking a posture of the installation caisson 1 by the display means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
