PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swiveling caster capable of improving the workability of installation work of an installed article.SOLUTION: A swiveling caster 1 is provided with a swiveling shaft holding hole at a holding portion 4 for holding an axle 3 attached with a wheel 2, and inserts a swiveling shaft 5 in the swiveling shaft holding hole to enable the holding portion 4 to swivel to the swiveling shaft 5. A nut 72 making a lower surface 75 function as a support object surface 74 is attached to a screw portion of the swiveling shaft 5. A sliding bearing 6 is disposed between the nut 72 and the holding portion 4, and a thrust bearing surface of the sliding bearing 6 and the support object surface 74 of the nut 72 are slid with each other, thereby making the thrust bearing surface support a thrust load added to the holding portion 4 through the swiveling shaft 5. Preferably, the sliding bearing 6 has surface pressure dependence increasing a friction coefficient of the thrust bearing surface in inverse proportion to the load added on the thrust bearing surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
