Disclosed are a cross-back panel data processing method and apparatus, which relate to the technical field of communications. The method comprises the steps of: respectively converging exchange data, clock data and monitoring signals of a set of service boards on each back panel of a plurality of back panels arranged on a sub-rack; conducting exchange processing on the exchange data from different back panels using a cross-back panel clock exchange device; conducting extraction and regeneration processing on the clock data of different back panels using the cross-back panel clock exchange device; and the cross-back panel data processing apparatus conducting monitoring management processing on different back panels using the monitoring signals. The present invention reduces the number of slots occupied by exchange and clock devices, simplifies the network structure, and improves the system reliability. |
