摘要 FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used mechanical testing of materials, particularly determining dynamic coefficient of external friction. For determination of dynamic coefficient of external friction two samples are used, bottom of which is fixed on platform capable to turn about horizontal axis of suspension in vertical plane. Flat working surface of platform is located parallel to the axis and perpendicular to plane passing through axis of suspension and geometric centre of working surface of platform. Upper sample is freely installed on surface of lower, platform with specimens are deflected from lower position at certain angle θ and released for free movement along physical pendulum law. On path of platform is placed stop, stopping it together with lower sample in lower horizontal position. After measuring path S traversed by inertia by upper sample on surface of lower dynamic coefficient of external friction is determined by formula.EFFECT: enabling determination of dynamic coefficient of external friction with limited dimensions of samples of identical shape without measurement of friction forces by using the principle of equality between the kinetic energy of sample, moving with certain initial speed and operation of friction force executed during relative movement of sample to complete stop.1 cl, 1 dwg
