PURPOSE:To eliminate a drain hose for draining condensate out of a room and to improve installation properties of an air conditioner by evaporating condensate generated in an indoor unit of the conditioner, and draining it out of a room together with ventilation. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioning unit 2 and a ventilating unit 3 are provided in an indoor unit 1a, and an evaporating unit 8 is provided in the unit 3. Condensate generated in a heat exchanger 15 is collected to a drain pan 17, collected to a drip tray 8a of the unit 8, and evaporated. The air in a room is ventilated via a sleeve 4 provided at a wall 18 for partitioning indoor from outdoor by a ventilating supply fan 6, and evaporated moisture is exhausted out of the room. Condensate output at the time of cooling an indoor unit is evaporated by the evaporating unit, and exhausted together with the indoor air out of the room, thereby eliminating installation of a drain hose for draining the condensate and improving installation properties of an air conditioner. |
