PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary rectifier which attains standardization of a current balance between rectification elements connected to rectification arms forming parallel circuits, and an AC power generation system with the rotary rectifier.SOLUTION: A rotary rectifier comprises: an R-phase terminal 41, an S-phase terminal 41and a T-phase terminal 41which are connected to three-phase output from an armature coil 32 of an AC exciter; totally six rectification arms 42 which are connected oppositely at a P side and an N side in each of the R-phase terminal 41, the S-phase terminal 41and the T-phase terminal 41; and a pair of output terminals 43and 43which make output from the rectification arm 42 at a side opposite to a side of opposite connection confluent at each of the P side and the N side and are connected to a field coil 21 of a main generator. In each of the rectification arms 42, an element group 45 is formed by connecting a plurality of rectification elements 44 in parallel with each other and further, the rectification arm is configured by connecting a plurality of element groups 45 in parallel with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
