A server device (10) executes: processing for receiving a designation of a region on a capture image of a culture medium on which microbes are cultured, for a display image for displaying information indicating the positions of colonies detected from the captured image; processing for receiving a correction to the total number of colonies positioned in the received region; and processing for calculating a colony counting result for the image, on the basis of a corrected total number for the colonies positioned in the received region and the number of colonies positioned outside the region.
