PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for accumulating hollow multimers in the culture media utilizing bacteria.SOLUTION: The invention provides a filamentous fungus carrying a heterologous expression unit comprising a polynucleotide encoding a protein that forms a hollow multimer, and a method for producing the hollow multimer comprising culturing the filamentous fungus in a culture medium to accumulate the hollow multimer in the culture medium.SELECTED DRAWING: None
